This page is not encrypted (HTTP): anyone on the network path can read your password and access token. Put the receiver behind an HTTPS reverse proxy (see mqtt/README.md).

No dongle has registered with this receiver yet. A dongle appears here once it connects to the broker.
Two dongles with older firmware use the same MQTT account and publish to the same topics, so they cannot be told apart.
Update their firmware (web page → Firmware update): newer firmware includes the dongle's MAC address in its topics, so any number of dongles can share one account.
Update the broker's access rules first (docker compose up -d on the broker host re-runs init).
The broker's public certificate (no private key). A dongle needs it to trust this broker: upload it in the dongle's own web page (Settings → MQTT broker certificate), then reboot the dongle.
Run it on every target PC: it sends that PC's screen to the dongle (the dongle itself has no video input). Keep the three files in one folder.
Linux (GNOME): bash install_agent_service.sh (no sudo; it installs a user service and finds the dongle plugged into that PC over USB).
Windows: double-click install_agent.bat (no administrator rights; it offers to install Python 3.12 with winget, sets the agent up under %LOCALAPPDATA%\geek-kvm-agent and starts it at every logon; install_agent.bat /uninstall removes it). Not working? install_agent.bat /diagnose tests the USB port, the dongle, the network and the screen capture and shows the end of the log; on any system python screen_agent.py --diagnose does the same checks.
macOS: pip install -r requirements.txt, then python screen_agent.py. Python 3.10 or newer.
